  The 3Arena is located about 30 minutes walk from the city centre. It is best to take a Luas tram in the direction of the station named The Point. A return tram ticket costs €4.20. There is a car park but it is apparently very busy after events so they recommend using public transport. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I expected security to be tighter like in other venues around the country. The queue moved very quickly. We found our seats easily enough. They were fairly comfortable and even though we were on block K we had a great view of the stage. Drinks were overpriced as they are at any concert. The toilets were very clean and there was a lady there to help direct people to toilets as they became available. A good venue but really should move with the times regarding security.

  A great venue, to be sure and Ireland is lucky to have the facilities offered. But I know they're told to be this way, but the staff in 3Arena aren't exactly what I'd call friendly or people I'd feel comfortable asking a question of. But I've felt like this since it used to be The Point back in the 1990s.
